Flash Dance

I have always been a fan of flash when tweens were a million frames long and the intro took 5 hours to load - but that’s the designer in me. There has long been a belief within the web standards community that Flash is part of a different world. While all approaches have limitations and drawbacks, Flash has been scorned to the point that many refuse to acknowledge its benefits, albeit mainly design ones in the early years. Ultimately, this has led to the creation of a virtual separation among web designers/developers; those who use Flash use it exclusively and those who dont ever give it a second thought, you only need to listen to Dr John and myself here a No 9s at the beginning of web projects to feel the line.

BD4D returns to the ICA on 25 May 2007 with an outstanding line up of presenters. A number of Three Minute Madness sessions are scheduled to take place on the night.

What is Three Minute Madness?
Three Minute Madness (3MM) is the section of BD4D Events where designers can demonstrate their latest work and ideas to the rest of the community. Each participant has three minutes to demonstrate his or her project/work, which is usually produced specifically for that BD4D event. The essence of Three Minute Madness is to give people a chance to splash out and break away from the restrictive confines of their professional work.

With Kingsway’s new identity in place, what better way to show off how the proposed new look than by developing a 3D model from which we created a fly through movie for easy presentation.
Armed with these new visuals we then created a great website that could showcase activities and enabled the client to inform of any new developments with ease. www.kingswayshopping.co.uk
